As a Club member, you can benefit from one of the best technical instructors in the region. Gregory Martin (USPTA certified) has been with our Club (PSTC) since 1987 and has been our Head Tennis Pro for over 14 years. During this time he has created innovative programs uniquely suited to our members’ wide range of skill levels and has remained committed to providing a high standard of instruction.
You should see Greg if you’re interested in anything related to a tennis team, a clinic, a private or group lesson, or a social event. As many have come to find, Greg, his energetic and always helpful assistants and his programs are particularly great with our littlest players; their engaging approach to the game makes it easy for the kids to stick with tennis and to make it a sport to enjoy for life.

- Coached by Greg, our ladies teams compete on weekdays in the spring and fall seasons on the ‘A’ and ‘C’ levels of the Washington Ladies Interclub Tennis League. In addition, the women play in the Potomac Women's Evening League (POTWEL) on Thursdays in May, through July.
- PSTC men's team. Matches are Sunday mornings at local clubs.
- Men’s clinics for adult men of all ages and abilities meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to dark throughout the summer.
- "Stroke of the Week" clinics are held on Monday evenings in summer.
- Sunday tennis socials will be held throughout the summer from 10:00 to 1:00* or whenever you’ve had enough; enjoy some friendly competition and a bit of a brunch to boot. Keep an eye out for announcements at the Club!
- To be clear, the Club's tennis office offers the opportunity to use the Pro's experience and the internet to identify essentials in tennis equipment and clothing to obtain.
