PSTC History
The Potomac Swim and Tennis Club (PSTC)opened in 1963 and has now provided several generations with a friendly place to spend their summers. Over the years our facilities have matured to include a competition-sized pool for swimming and diving and a separate sloped entry wading pool. Our tennis program operates on five courts. In 2001, we added a kid-friendly playground on a child-safe cushioned surface and a sports court for basketball, as well tetherball and four-square courts, all nestled on our nearly five-shaded acres close to Potomac Village.

In 2007 we upgraded our bathhouse, renovated our wading pool and kitchen, and added two all-weather shade structures. In 2008 we expanded our pool recreation options, completely renovating our heated main pool to increase dedicated lap swimming, diving well, and shallow area options, and adding two additional shade structures.

In 2011 we will be replacing two of our tennis courts with three new tennis courts for outdoor use, and they will also be covered with a seasonal bubble for winter tennis play. A building to house a tennis office and facilities is being added as well.
