Frequently Asked Questions

Are memberships available?
Yes. We have memberships available for the upcoming season. While we have a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere, our members come from as far as Rockville, Bethesda, North Potomac, and even D.C. Some members have moved out of the neighborhood but don't want to miss out on summers with us.

Can you keep my children engaged all summer?
Can we ever! Swim lessons and swim team practices start as soon as we open Memorial Day weekend. Meets are in full swing by mid-June. Junior tennis team, clinics, and tennis camp have children in the swing all season. Our playground and sport courts are a buzz of activity. Some kids just love hanging by the pool with their friends. And check out raft nights as well as club and swim team social events!

What is there for parents to do?
Tennis teams, clinics, and round robins; lap lanes and swim lessons and classes; quiet areas for reading and napping; relaxing with your friends; and adult parties are just a few of things you can do with your time at the Club. And you are always welcome to get involved by assisting, cheering, and supporting swim and tennis team events.

Is the club available for private parties?
Absolutely. The Club is a great spot for swim or tennis birthday, end of school year, team, or general fun parties. Allow Greg Martin, our tennis pro, to run a tennis birthday party for your daughter or son. Our spacious grounds allow for parties while other members enjoy all their regular activities. Reservations are required and may only be made by members. Party Reservation Form General Party Rules

May we bring guests?
Of course! We ask a minimal $7 fee per day for guests using either swim or tennis facilities. There are some limitations to ensure members are not crowded. Out of town guests visiting members may use the pool at a rate of $40 per family per week for a maximum of two weeks during the season.

Is the club open year round?
The swimming pool opens Memorial Day weekend and typically closes two weeks after Labor Day if the weather stays warm, and it usually does in Potomac. Tennis courts are open year round. You'll often see members playing tennis on a balmy January day.
